In a different area.. Believe it or not, this is the spawning ground for the worlds largest Giant Rainbow Trout, "The Gerrard species". On the Lardeau River. Some of which up to 52 pounds have been caught. The water is so clear and clean, you can see down 30 feet and watch the fish in schools swim by. By far the nicest river I have ever seen...
it's hard to believe there are still places in the world that are that beautiful. Thanks for sharing. ________ ANIME VID
That is dome wonderful scenery. I would love to take my boys fishing there for some catch and release. We need to preserve as much of this area as we can. Thanks for sharing those pictures.
Graham Awsome pictures. Did you encounter any bears? Can you share your previous bear encounter with the rest of the board? I'm curious as to what they would have done.
Wow, breath taking!!!!!! While I release most, there are few things in life better than pan fried trout after a wonderful day of fishing. :beer
I'm not sure that fishing would capture all my attention, those mountains sure are breathtaking. Thanks for sharing those. :TU:
While at work this weekend, I took a couple pics of some new remote prospective fishing holes in the area. Thought I would share some of the landscape pics with the board. First is a river that flooded almost a year ago on June 1, 2005
