Have a few close call Grizzly stories, I'll elaborate a little more later.  Never, Ever adventure out without the Spray. This is prime Grizz Country. Thanks for the comments.
Wow... I've never been a big "fishing guy", but I would sure love to spend a few days in that area for the scenery and the peace-n-quiet. Very nice. :TU: :TU:
This was kinda freaky, I was out fishing in the bush and stumbled on a Grizzly trying to bury a Bull Moose he must have killed. (Look closely for the horns). My truck was about 600 yards away and I was by myself. Gets your heart racing. Needless to say I was looking over my shoulder the whole way back. What ever one does in this situation just "DO NOT RUN". Pic is about 8 yrs old. I left carefully after the second pic I snapped after, he saw me. Not a good situation to be in...
They tell you to wear bells on your shoes to keep from sneaking up on a bear and startling him and to carry pepper spray to ward them off if they decide to be too interested. He's just showed you pictures of the 2 main types of bears in the US and Canada. However you can tell the difference by the droppings, black bears droppings have the remains of seeds and nuts mostly while grizzlys smell like pepper and have bells in it. Another way to tell the difference is to walk up to the bear and kick it, then climb the nearest tree. If it follows you up the tree its a black bear, if it tries to push the tree over its a grizzly. Just a former survival instructor and Alberta resident bear humor. Don't mess with the Moose either,
