Bingo! He was also on "Route 66", but but I've never seen it because it was a little before my time, and it was never in syndication/repeats that I can remember. I do remember Kent McCord, the guy who played Reed, playing a cop many years after Adam 12 ended, on the show 21 Jump Street. He played Tommy Hanson's (Johnny Depp's) father, who gets killed in the line of duty while Hanson is waiting with his girlfriend for his dad to pick them up from the prom. This is supposed to be the catalyst for Hanson to become a cop.
