A friend of mine told me this past Saturday that he saw a 1972 GS Stg 1 SC at the Antique car museum in Tallahassee. I sent him this post. Maybe he will weigh in with some additional infor on the car.
any chance any one of these cars have been on the road not long ago around Sedalia, MO/Lake of the Ozarks area? My buddy was on his way to their lake home and snapped some phone pics of a sun coupe that had Stage I badges...don't know if real or not, but I've seen the pics and it looked great
I know of a few Suncopes in that area. I know of a clone thats flame orange down there. If thats the car they also have a salvage yard with a triple black one.
UPS just made my day. I now have the new Evaperator core and gaskets and hoses. Soon the drive train will be in it. Got to go now
Hey,just hold on there a minute John!Back in Sept. you promised new pictures soon. When's soon in your book?Your kill'in us here. Tom
Here's a couple pictures of my friend Brenda's SunCoupe....it has a white bucket interior......very nice....she loves it ! Peace WildBill
Sorry for the long delay. I like most of you guys have much more in my life than BUicks. I am getting back into the car again and hope to have the engine back in by next weekend. First the A/C box then the NOS booster then the engine. I plan on waiting to finish the front suspension until I have the weight of the engine in the frame.
I srtill need to find that tar like substance that seals the evap core line to the plastic A/C box. I am going to look locally. TPP sold me a windshield seal to use for that
The only time I went to the GS Nats was in '94, I believe. I remember driving there, and when I was going through town to get to the event, I saw a GS Sun Coupe on the side of the road. I believe it was for sale, but can't say for sure. I want to say it was that emerald green, but can't say for sure either (and, no, it wasn't that Stage 1 car that I've seen before). Does anyone remember this?
Diego I remember a Heritage green suncoupe in Bowling Green for several years and yes it was for sale but it was not a GS.
