Has anyone seen one of these? That would be wild to find out that your hardtop Skylark was originally a SunCoupe. The idea of installing glass in place of the sunroof would be cool also.
Older woman in Richardson, TX used to have one like that. It had a vinyl top installed OVER the Sun Coupe top. Was real obvious as there was an obvious bulge. Don't know what happened to the car as I haven't come across it in several years.
I was with the pervious owner of my car when he got it and it had a three foot by four foot (about the size) piece of plexi-glass covering the hole where the top once was. The top was long gone. It took over three months to get a top on it (before the internet).
Update, the gas tank and lines are installed. The bumpers are done. The E brake cables are installed. New front suspension and steering components are going on this week. I am waiting for the sticker kit from Duane. I still need a correct masterr cyl to go with my NOS booster. Incorrect taged rad is installed Still looking for the right one but it will do for now. The car is going to South Side City Speed Shop where the engine was built to get the cam broken in. Then its off to the body shop to get the front end installed. Then to the top shop for headliner and Suncoupe roof install. I found some NOS PW motors and am working on installing them on my regulators. PW/PL wiring is installed. Power trunk is going in alsoas is a power seat . I'll get some more pics as soon as I can. The new garage is taking all my time right now. I'm supposed to have the engine ready to start this week. I'll get back with a update and pics soon. Still hoping to make BG and BPG
Yes, I have about 200 pics of that car and the Wifes Suncoupe at BG. I bet Dave wishes he had it back.
