Looks great, love that color. What's with the coupe in the background of the first pic? Is that Brian's shop?

    Downs Rod Shop

Yes Dave, this is the rod shop where Bryan work's his magic :TU:

There is a 33 Ford Vicky that Bryan shoved off to the side to sneak our car in this weekend. I'll post a pic.

He just finished a Chip Foose designed car, that is going to travel the SEMA show circuit. The car color/combo was picked out by Chip, and he and Bryan decided on the paint scheme together.
The rod shop is a really neat place. Lot's of high dollar toy's sitting around to drool over.

Paladium Silver and a T-37. My favorite color and cool T-37 combine for something very special.

I can not wait to see this one. My second car ever is a Paladium Silver Goat.

Olds had a similar color caled antique pewter, or something like that. I had a 72 Supreme with a black vinyl top and interior in that color. Real low mileage 455 automatic from California. Loved that car, drove it to work almost every day for two summers. Wife thought it was bad for my career at Ford Engineering when I'd blow off 5.0 Mustangs at lunch time and had me sell it and get a new F-150. Not all bad. Didn't tell her I also did same on the way to work, way home from work.etc........

    Tom:

That shop is awesome! No wonder your and Darrell's cars look so fabulous. Way to go Brian! Did a pretty good job driving Darrell's green car at Stanton, too. But the test of a real man is:

Can he drive a four speed, not just girlie-boy automatics. :spank: :spank: :moonu: :moonu:

Way to go Tom and Dad. That car will be awsome with the steel wheels and a 4 speed at that. You know how I love those A bodies,
Can't wait to see more pics. Don

    P.S
Just got the poster photo of our cars at the stanton race launching. The Photo Guy has some great clarity in those pics. (If only the framing did'nt cost so much. OUCH) Anyway the photo's are fabulous. Thanks photo guy. :3gears:

Not a tape line to be found anywhere, just like it came from GM 35 years ago.
Now we just need to get it home and do the swap onto the restored chassis, and start putting it back together.

I'll tell ya Tom...that looks great. :TU: Knowing how much work you put into it with the panel work and all
I think you missed your calling, you should start spraying so you can do the entire job.

Looks good Tom,that is a really neat car! I love the silver.Brian is right,if you are doing the body work, which is the hard part, you should spray it and take credit for the job.I did all the work for the guy that used to paint our cars, and he sprayed it and everybody thought he was so great.I have painted thelast 7 or so cars myself,i think you could do it with ease.
