If you want one where they didn't get caught, my friend was flying along at 120 in his cammed-to-death camaro on some backwoods flat open road and flew past a cop that he didn't see, he did see the cop come flying out with his lights on though and after a few miles, he didn't see anything since he was so far ahead, he went straight home and parked his car in the garage for a week.

Im 18 and Ive had one that was not intentional at all. It was with my first car, my 85 caprice and I was going down a big hill and had my mind on other things. 60 in a 30 but I got it down to a 40 in a 30. I used to speed here and there when I first got my license, but not really much for a 16 year old. But in the past two years Ive lost 2 friends of mine to car accidents where speed was a major factor. The first one was Oct. 30 2002 and the girl driving just made a stupid decision while going down the highway and decided to try to make it from the left lane to an exit ramp at the last second. They flew into the field between ramps and slid into a tree going around 70. The car hit the tree in the left back door, right where my friend was sitting. He wasnt wearing a seat belt and he died on impact. The second one was somewhat recent, Jan 27 2004. Speed again was a factor as they were coming down a country road during a big snow storm. My friend was again a passenger, in the front passenger seat this time. They came around a curve and lost control. The car ended up going sideways and another car t-boned the right front door. This time my friend was wearing a seat belt. I remember going home and going online and finding out what happened. I remember for the next hour I was desperately trying to find out what hospital he was at so I could go see him just in case something fatal happened, word was he was supposed to be okay. Turned out the whole time he was bleeding internely. I was about to leave right after I found out where he was, when we got the news he was already gone. As if it wasnt bad enough loosing two friends, it sucked even more that all of a sudden every1 was their best friends. These were some great and funny guys, but they were bmx bike riders and around my school and upper class people never gave them much respect, but when they died they were close as hell to them. Needless to say I'll open the buick up here and there but I rarely go 10 mph over the speed limit. And Ive always worn a seat belt anway, but I'll never give it a second thought. So I can agree that speed kills, I just think its okay to go 10 or 15 mph over. But something like 30-70 mph over is just unnecessary. As for driving drunk Ive never lost a friend to that, but I still think thats one of the stupidest and most selfish things you can do. If Im at a party I dont drink, I havnt in a long time. If one of my friends has just one drink I will not allow them to drive. I'll take care of giving them a ride home. Well just wanted to vent a little, your opinions can change alot when things like that happen.

Oh in the mix of all that forgot to mention Ive got pulled over twice in the buick since may but it was just for some car chit chat, didnt do anything wrong. There are some nice cops around here. I could probably get away with more around here. I know 2 Endicott cops because they also work security at sears.

The times I didn't ever get pulled over or seen by a policeman are much more interesting that the times I did. (Lucky for me.)

Okay, well . . . I did get a ticket in high school for "passenger riding in improper position". I didn't even know there was such a law! I was driving my buddy's Fiat X19, with my buddy and two girls riding shotgun. The car is a two-seater. The funny thing is, the policeman watched us all drive away after he gave us the ticket. :Do No:

-Blocking the local fire station's driveway with my stalled LeSabre due to a dead battery (brand new, incorrectly installed by myself)!

    I'm guilty
I often forget that speed limits are in KPH here...
I always "forget" wearing my seatbelt.
    I sometimes break parts I install:Dou:
