Back in my band days we played almost all originlas, but one of our few covers was "I Walk the Line."
No Johnny in my collection but I need to remedy that...

these old, true country artists are the best....time to go shopping for some Cash, it will go well with Johnny Bush, Merle Haggard, etc. If any of you guys like the Texas honky-tonk, tales-of-woe, steel guitar and fiddle stuff then give Johnny Bush a try (older greatest hits stuff).

Soundgarden seems to be pretty motivational when doing assembly work on the car! Patton

Cash was a superb artist no doubt."When the man comes around" was used at the end of "The Hunted",a Tommy Lee Jones movie which I just happened to watch this afternoon. He will be missed along with his buddy Waylon J. who I saw live a few years back.

Dad had a bunch of Cash LP's when I was a kid. They played non-stop.
I Walk The Line, Orange Blossom Special, Folsom Prison to name a few favourites.
When I hear the odd one on the radio........I know all the words.

Johnny Cash Rules!!!!!!!! Real country at its best! I used to listen to him all the time as a kid. My parents got a whole mess of his albums. Yup..he was the best. :TU:

He has a great song called "Rockabilly Blues". It is one of his best up tempo songs. If someone can host it, I'll email it to you. and everyone can listen to it. It's one of those songs that you don't really expect from The Man in Black.

If it's up tempo you are looking for I suggest:Blistered, Get Rythem, Cocaine Blues, Drive on, Guess Things Happen That Way, Hey Porter, Hit the Road and Go, Rock Island Line. Cash is one of my favorites.
