Both are beautiful cars. The four speed Strato Blue car should do very well.

There was a maroon '65 hardtop and a '72 orange 455 ragtop (updated to Stage 1). Mike Guarice had two Stage 1 4-speeds, 1969 ragtop and '70 hardtop.

Went for 31k. Helps to not chip the paint when you stick in the Stage1 emblems.

Looks like Mike just got some great coverage on NBCsn!
At the end of the Friday Mecum coverage they did a close up
    of the Aqua Stage 1
4 speed. Commentator Bill said "It's one of my FAVORITE cars in the whole, wide world!" Then he said: "I'm not kidding!" Probably only 30 seconds of coverage but they zoomed in on it (Looks Awesome by the way) and talked about GM lifting the cubic inch ban for 1970.
He also said "...This car could do 13 seconds in the quarter mile, right from the showroom!!"

    Mike Sobatka congratulations!! That car...man....beautiful!!
It might be "One of my FAVORITE cars in the whole, wide world," too!

Hope you get every penny that it's worth, and then enough to pay all commission costs on top of that!! Good Luck! :)

Funny story about that car.... I went out to visit mike several years ago and this car was residing in one of his car trailers... we were looking at and driving a bunch of his cars and around 9-ish, he decides to pull out this 72 stage 4 speed and take it for a blast... he stops, dumps the clutch and off this car goes- pulling like a freight train through the gears. Have NEVER felt an “old” car pull as hard as this thing through the gears!!!!! Well, as it’s pulling in fourth, a stop sign decided to appear...in which mike discovered there were NO BRAKES..

The new owner will be happy to know those brakes now work wonderfully... lol

Any idea approximately what time they will cross the block today? His and Mike G.'s will all go back to back so it should be easy to watch them all unless they go to commercial like BJ always does!

There is no TV coverage that I found. Internet only I’m thinking. Think it’s being replayed on Tuesday.

Seems like it's hidden somewhere online.

    Any suggestions?
