Really nice price I was expecting to pay at least 400-500 for the work. The guys were even nice enough to teach me how to do a complete head job. If you have the tools it easy enough. But yeah local place. Cyberbuick and I got some good quotes for a complete job on a 455:Brow: Heads,block,balancing on the crank,line bore,etc. So im thinking that is my summertime project. Allright goods news. I will be getting a replacement head with the same casting number.:TU: It turns out the head had a nice hole where the hardened seat was placed. I guess the hole was there and the machine shop missed it. Well to make it right for my lost time they are giving me the replacement head and a set of gaskets. Looks like Saturday I will replace and fire up my boat.:Brow: Ivan
