Battling tinnitus

I have never know anyone who had a hearing test done at a place that sells hearing aids that wasn’t told that they needed one or two.

 

Well, Miracle Ear tech says hearing is basically normal range. Ears are clear, except hard to hear my girlfriend when she speaks.
Tinnitus is there but nothing a hearing aid would help, so no ca$h out of Mart's pocket today.

 

Wow, surprising....I went like 3 years ago...maybe they have cleaned up their act due to all the competition now.....

 

IF you are dealing with your wife or girlfriend its called selective hearing.

My hearing test comprises this:
Can I hear an emergency vehicle's siren while driving with all windows up and Led Zeppelin blasting from the speakers.

I'm scoring 100% so far. Also thankful my hearing is still quite good.

 

What?...

 

I remember the first time I realized I had lost hearing above 10K hz. I was shocked. I was maybe 60 yo.
Last year I got a referral from my doctor to a real hearing doctor. Did the test and all was OK (below 10K hz) and they confirmed that there were no magic pills/cure for my tinnitus as of then.
Of course the wife didn't believe them....

 

...just tell her not to be shrill...unless that's working for you...
