Best police encounter??

Roughly 1987, San Luis Obispo, Calunicornia. I'm in the GSX running to a photo developer's shop to get some pics (probably mostly of the car - LOL). The CHP motor patrolman follows me into the parking lot; I pull into a space and turn it off. He pulls his bike right in behind me perpendicular as I'm exiting the large bumblebee. I'm thinking "oh boy, what have I done." So I ask politely. He says "oh nothing - I just wanted to see your car." I say "oh well - ok! - I thought maybe I'd get a ticket for no legal front plate" (currently the plate proudly displayed in my 2022 garage). He says "oh that? - That's just chickenshit."
