All this BS going on right now with this topic, i mentioned NO cars, NO names, did not imply what camp and you call me out? ou: I don`t think that was a bold statement at all, they even added something in the rules this year about the transmissions, i think? Has nobody else had heard the transmission rumors? I hear the term Kilgore constantly. I`ll say it again, i do not agree with only pulling one "quick 8" car down for tech, but i`m 100% behind Bob and Dan with the stronger and deeper tech. I would love to do the same thing at our race next year and the FAST class this year. I hope this works out for the PSMCDR, it`s a move in the right direction, for sure.
Re: Bogus/cheating Ram Air Ii Ed I too mean no disrespect, And I'm not singling you out . But that is the perfect comment that got us to where we are right now. One upmanship. Some people just have more dimes to spend on there cars. The Average car guy has 1 or 2 cool cars, they want to play with other cool cars. The F.A.S.T. class was born from people that wanted to go faster than there stock Cars could or should take them. The problem has become some people would rather alter there car at any expense, and feel entitled to do it no matter what. Wrong parts-It doesn't matter, it's just a 2 out of 3 shootout. Like the Pure Stock Drags has become there own personal test and tune at Milan Dragway or any other.It does matter, instead of switching over to FAST and running at the back of the pack. It's easier to stay and be up front. I'll tell you I do want to go faster, But I think I'm going to build a FASTcar though. I too LoVE the parties, but it's not why I started . I am curiouse to see what happens with Bob and Dan, and can they get it under control. Folks this is just my opinion- I'm not going to get into mud throwing, cause I am tired of this. A wise Hillbilly once told me" you can restle a pig in the mud as long as you want- But eventually you figure out the pig likes it" Hope it all works out. See you at the race
Re: Bogus/cheating Ram Air Ii I feel bad that I did not read the first couple of posts more carefully the first time. Rick has always subjected his car to any tech at any race, and he has already agreed to heavy tech this year and has his big box of gaskets and fluids packed. He does not deserve to be called a clown and be singled out. I am opening a new thread for Heavy Tech discussion, if you have a post here that you would like moved there, PM me and I will happily do that.
