It's a great show and I hate to miss it this year. I'll be thinking of you all from up in the North Carolina mountains. Have a blast.
Tons of beautiful cars but this is one I haven’t seen there before, I would like to have it. 69 stage 1 four speed . Congratulations to Steve for one of the top ten winners, along with Bob Stillwell and myself . It was great seeing everyone! Steve and John hope you had a safe trip going home. Fernando
Thanks Fernando... Congrats to you guys, too! Looks like it was a good turn out and a lot of fun. I'm going to try to make John's Buick Bash in 2024.
Hey Fernando, I agree with you. That was one very nice 69 Stage1! As Steve said, we were talking with the guy for a while and invited him to the spring Buick get together. I asked him if he drives his car any distance. He said, I just got back from driving it to Indiana, is that far enough. Steve and I both laughed. I told him it’s only a three hour cruise from the Auburndale area to my house. I’ve got his phone number.
Fernando, Next year you should try to park with us further down the tracks and sit in the shade. Would be cool to have the entire group in the same area.
that's what we wanted to do, but the guys directing us to pull up there. Believe me I didn't want to be cooked in the sun. I would imagine when you have a butt load of cars waiting to park, is just a matter of luck seems like. Glad you made it home OK! Fernando
Really wanted to attend, but had to leave town Sunday for a business trip, meaning I worked all day Saturday to prepare for it. Worst part is wife saying "You should go! Just go and have fun!" Darn the luck...
Oh Fernando, You have to do like me and my friends when we used to go to NASCAR races. Of course the person parked you and it wasn’t where you wanted to park. As soon as they walked away we started up our cars and moved somewhere else. Too funny!
