The Buick Performance Group is pleased to announce the BPG Test & Tune Day at Norwalk Raceway Park, in Norwalk Ohio. MAY 1st 2003 (thursday) we will be hosting a day of fun for everyone, T&T will be from 12-6pm. this will allow plenty of travel time in the morning. you do not haveto be a BPG member to attend, So put this date on your Calender now! The BPG event is in conjunction with The 13th annual BUICK RACEDAY, which will be held May 2,3,4 they will host a t&t session on Fri. Car show on Sat, and the Big Race on Sunday. Just think! you'll have two great days of Test&Tune to get those winter projects Dialed in. Look for more info and things too come soon! Who wants to See the Ultra rare Stage III, 4-bolt main Block? Bruce, Is this TnT seperate from what Bill and Roberta are putting together? I mean, do we have to pre-register for both or just show up on Thursday? Hi Lon, the BPG is in full support of Bill and Roberta's event , BUICK RACEDAY, we are just adding an extra day to their event so that we all can get together and have some fun. Norwalk BPG update and pricing Hi Folks, the Gate entry Fees for Thursday May 1st are as follows: Test And Tune from 12 to 6pm, gates will be open at approx. 9:00 am. * entry fee for BPG members is $ 25.00 car and driver $ 8.00 spectator, Members are encouraged to bring their BPG membership card. * entry fee for non BPG members is $ 30.00 car and driver $12.00 spectator, (this includes FA/PS/SA and F.A.S.T cars) * entry fee for Vendors And Swappers is $ 20.00 The BPG has invited anyone with a legal FA/PS/SA or F.A.S.T. of any make or model that conforms to these racing rules is welcome to come and test and tune all day long! there will be two entry lanes into the track, we will designate one lane for BPG members and one for all other paticipants, please plan ahead now as this t&t day Preceeds the 13th Annual BUCK RACEDAY held at Norwalk Raceway park, Norwalk Ohio. Bruce, A friend of mine is finishing up his 1965 Corvette Pro Mod car. It should run 6.80s at 190 mph. He would be willing to attend this Test and Tune if you are accepting cars other than Buicks. I totally understand if you guys say no. Let me know. Thanks
BPG & Norwalk Hi all, things are shaping up pretty good with the BPG test and tune day, I'd like to get some responses as to who thinks they will be able to attend on thursday, remember the racing is from 12 noon to 6pm So there is plenty of time to tavel early in the morning to get to Norwalk Raceway Park, we thought this way you would not need to pay for an extra nights hotel. I hope many of you can make this event, it should be a great time and nothing better than an extra T7T day to get ready for The 13th Annual BUICK RACE DAY which runs from Friday thru Sunday, The BPG is looking forward to meeting you and making sure you enjoy the day. I`ll probally show up,with a turbo car though.The GS is far from being ready.By May it should be in the body shop with the frame out from under it.Allthough every Buick day at Norwalk I brake something: one year a trans,the next year a moter[on the way to the track:af: ]Hopeful;ly this year nothing breaks.
