HEY THATS MY CAR IN THE FIRST PIC!!!!!!! Well I bought it from Mark and hope it becomes a nice track car. I have had a few turbo buicks but wanted a big block, and keep the whole thing buick at the same time. Motor is strong, started to repave my driveway the first day back with it, gonna need new tires soon- damm torque...need to get the th400 rebuilt and pop that up there (350 in there now) and have driveshaft fitted, will ask about driveshafts on another post, but found a couple online guys the seem pretty good. Well im sure ill be askin a lot of questions, many stupid ones but just thought id say hi and thank Mark, great guy, and maybe see some of you at the track..later on..john.
Wal-mart!!! You mean Wally World!! That's what the locals call it. Yeah, you could have witnessed what happens to really rusty cars that sit in fields for 3+ years. They get rustier, and they become homes to things that you don't want to meet (big snakes and bees...that are mad!!) You could've looked at my 72 GS 350 and verified that it is a rusty pile of crap that isn't worth restoring. And that it should be squished and turned into 3 toyotas  Clarion is a pretty nice area. Cooks Forest is just another 7 miles up the road from my place (and yes we're related to the guy named Cook). Home of the last stand of Virgin White Pine on the east coast. The trees are well over 200 ft tall. They aren't like the Redwoods and Sequoa's of CA, but neat in their own right. While in Cooks Forest you may get to see the Amish go swimming in the Clarion River. Quite entertaining to say the least. The boys are in shorts and the girls wear their dresses.
Yeah...I wish Granny would quit trying to set me up with Amy Gilmore. We're like 5th cousins or something. Granny says that's far enough away that our kids won't be stupid or something worse.
Mark, Would you be interested in registering it in my 73-75 Century GS Registry???I know its not a Century, but it is a Big Block car and any help I can learn from it will be appreciated. Pat
