In the pic i am looking at those notches in the piston look correct, so long as your notches aren't valve specific. They should face the valley, you didn't turn them around did you?

I managed to switch places with a few of them, the larger notches should be facing eachother. You'll have to forgive my english, I'm swedish and sometimes my mind is just too cluttered for me and I become rather incoherent.

Anyway, a small update. Put the waterpump back in place now, I just have to re-plug the spark plug wires I put off due to me messing with the ignition thinking it was that at first. After that I just need to put the radiator back, put some water in it and hope to god that it works.

So sick of working on this car atm.

Started it up today. Runs strong as a freight train, sounds like satan. The only issue is that the rollers/rockers is a bit loud, worrying. Going to get a video soon enough. Also got the 3 inch exhaust on.

Excuse the lack of images at the moment, photobucket won't work for me.

Went out today to tune the engine, and I lifted the valvecover to check for that odd sound and noticed that the pushrods were bent. Must've happened when I had the camshaft set wrong.

Eh, I have another set laying around that I'm putting in tomorrow.

Voil. I just switched them out for some new ones and a soundclip.

    And the 3 inch exhaust.

Now, the ignition is not set at all, got some heavy misfires at 2k RPM and just in general. Going to check the sparkplugs later, but here's a sound clip. In 720p as well. Doesn't really give it justice since it sounds a lot better irl.
