That's the 392 rental. Cost $62 a day to rent. We're returning it tomorrow morning. I had to scrub the rubber out of the rear wheel wells and hide the evidence

I dig it J-Cook!!! But then I've been accused of being a borderline closet Mopar guy.....

Still, neat car. Enjoy it for all it's worth (and by that I mean flog it like it owes ya money while it's still under warranty. Because it does owe ya money. Lots of it....)

  3. Jason, what's your opinion of the off idle torque of that car? mine was an automatic but when I first got it I had a hard time taking off from a stop sign without chirping the tires or worse.

You really have to be very light on the pedal it seems. Doesn't take a lot of gas to get them going. It take a little "finesse". The stick version is better...way better

To me the only vehicle on the road today that still looks like a "real" car is the Challenger, rwd,V8, and 2 door bodystyle.

Jason, I just want to point out that in your original post you said your plan was to get one in (and I quote) "late summer or early fall". That post was created 8 days ago and today you posted a picture of your new car. You, Sir, have the same level of patience that I do for such things, and I'm now glad to say I know definitively that I'm not alone in that boat. Bully Sir, bully....

Jen still has the Boss? We want to see a showdown!
And does it handle better than your go-cart?

Well, I was seriously all for waiting, getting all my ducks in a row and ordering a car. Jennifer was responsible for accelerating the timeline. She said she was tired of hearing about it and I should just buy the [expletive] thing already. She wound up finding the (almost) exact car I wanted and then pushed me into driving down with her and buying it. So its her not me!

Honestly, the whole thing hasn't sunk in yet. Im still numb.

Yep. sitting in the garage with a dead battery. 7 years old with 1ok miles on it and a bunch of Ford at Carlisle stickers on the windshield.

As far as the suspension, your talking to someone that thinks a 69 Riviera GS handles good. They both handle like theyre on rails. I like the Challenger better just for the fact that its a full size car. The Mustang is a little cramped. The back seat of the Stang is ridiculous. They must of designed it for circus midgets. I cant see myself driving a Mustang daily.

You must have let up at the end. Nice! My friend could only rent a 5.7 R/T but he even liked that.

For the record, that was Stacy's (dentboy) handiwork. We had to vacate the crime scene quickly. Stacy went back for pictures with his truck

Didn't know you had become an expert at Photoshop too.
EDIT: I hope by now you know I'm happy for you, but I couldn't resist!
