Looks great, I am happy to see you guys doing this on your own and not paying the high $$ at a stereo shop or at an upholsterer.

I do both, stero and upholstery, mostly for friends and every once and a while someone gets referred and I do a real paying job.

I have done a few trunks like this, they look so nice trimed in that way. One note on material that can take it to another level, if you can source steel or aluminum expanded metal, you can make flowing panels with smooth contour. Cover the expanded metal with landau foam and then your choice of upholstery material. Aluminum is the easiest to work with when it is expanded cause it is very light and it can be manipulated easily. Cuts with your same jig saw too. I will try to get the last one I did back for some pics to post. Unfortunately it was a Mustang. 1968 GTCS, dude has had it done for 3-4 years after about 50K investment and has less than 300 miles on it since. It is a beautiful Donkey.

These are awesome-it is little projects like this that really highlight the skills and creativity of our group. It has even encouraged me to offer a complimenting product: color coordinated triple layer dual seal body bags!
After all that work you don't want any of that nasty DNA evidence smelling up your new trunk! ( and remember, we're talkin BUICKS with real trunk capacity! you may be able to fit 3 or 4 before making that late nite run to your favorite local construction concrete pour!  ( yes, I know I'm tweaked:idea2:
Nice work- 'specially thr Rivvy emblems in the corners, whole thing looks like a check - off on the build sheet for $37.95 back in the day!
