Last year for the Packard. There was one of these in a neighbor's garage a few doors away from my Dad's home near Philadelphia. Old widow lived there whose husband had owned a large Studebaker/Packard dealership in the Philly suburbs. Every year the would deliver a brand new 4 door like this to the house and take back the old one. After 1958 they stopped doing it, but the car remained there at least until 1962 when I left the area. She didn't drive, so had next to no miles on them when they were turned in each year. I believe it was supercharged.

Although he's hinting about setting up his 70 Torino 429 SCJ drag pac car, 2009 would be the earliest he'd bring it. a 69 Firebird (non T/A) RAIV or a 70 RAIV Formula would be neat curious if some early 60s Pontiac Super Duty's would be eligible. What about a 67 W-30? 68 GTO RAI? 73 GTO? I know someone who is planning on bringing his 71 GT-37 455HO 4sp car.

I left a '65 K Code 2+2 at home. Virtually no options on these nice looking cars. We had my Nephew in a 343 Jav AMC at Martin. Slowest car that did not break! Motor and trans still as they left the factory as is the Stinger side exhaust that was choking the life out of the poor little thing. But it was Larry's second day of having a liscence. Did he really need to go quicker than mid 15's? Great starter car that has some 14's in it if I ever decide to do something about it. Mark

the yellow 69 Z that I was paired against at Stanton, the owner (Don I think) told me he bought the rust free 69 car (6cyl originally I believe) and the 350HO motor from Dan. Don actually offered to sell it to me as he changed plans. Don also asked if I was interested in selling my GT-37.
I like adopting friends and cars. Unfortunately Jody and Scott seem to be inline in front of you and then we will not even bring up that line cutting reprobate I call a nephew. Stay in line long enough and you never know what might happen. I did not even see my HO T/A Scott races for about 3 three years it seems and Jody has had the 2+2 K code to frolic in for, well, as long as I have owned it. It never did make it to my house. Of course I am holding his '64 tri-power Goat hostage up here in MI. We have talked about a gun point trade sometime this spring. Mark
