Is it deliberately wearing three poverty caps? I kinda hope so, but I’d have to put all four on.

It was just a picture I had "on file" when the original picture I submitted wasn't good enough. I kinda had to scramble to find a better picture and that was all I had that fit the bill for him

10-4. Now you need to build an all iron, stock appearing engine for both BSA at the ‘nats and Pure Stock in Michigan! Put that ‘factory time release lightweight package’ into the 11s and ruffle more feathers.

Remember seeing this car over the summer at one of the better attended cruise nights. While we were talking, it was funny how some people were indignant that you would bring this car out- their facial expressions were priceless . Others thought the car was on its way to the restoshop. They could be heard" that car is going to be sweet one day". The true car affectionado gets a kick out of what's been done to it & your plans for the future

Jason, your car would fit in perfect at the “No Shine S*** List” event in Alabama. Some pretty cool old iron will be at the event next month.

Ive been to their Facebook page. Pretty cool iron is right. Everyone needs one "S box" in the collection. Cars like this really do fill a void and have a place just like the nice ones. The Long Island Buick Club actually created a new class for cars like this at this year's show.

Like I say, they all don't need to be restored. Plus think of the money you save by intentionally searching for pitted, rusty parts! Broken parts are actually a plus!

I have been running a ruffian for quite a few years now.The interior is perfect as is the floors and trunk. It still sports the dents from the little lady from Altoona,Pa that had owned it from 1972 to 2006. I even have the POP and the transfer papers switching the POP to the new owner as well as all glovebox info. 1186716_10151666547551674_1008528623_n.jpg I removed the front rusted sheetmetal the 350 2bbl with TH 350 and updated to be a safer ride. Not bad for a $1200 dollar car.At this time I don't plan to fix the rust or dents. I don't worry about show quality or hurting it out and about. I can relate to Jason with that car.

Congrats Jason. The magazine came the other day but my wife hid it so she could see it first . I'm on Craigslist looking for a wood chipper now.

Fortunately or unfortunately, my s***box to nice car ratio is 1 to 1. In the past few years, I’ve grown very fond of them. Many upsides to having one. No worries about door dings, theft, or getting dirty.

Makes me chuckle every time somebody posts a lead about a rough GS, and everybody immediately wants to condemn it to being a parts car or not worth anything because it costs too much to “restore”.
