You do not know if your heads flow at 248 Like TA says theirs do and didn't they use the new aluminum heads on that motor? If not, does not matter that much if your heads do not flow as much as theirs do. He also ran the Q-jet with the DP intake and it may have had a better off idle throttle punch with the Q- jet and DP intake.

The key here is the mentioning of the Loose 3500 stall convertor and when I had that in mine the car went faster. I think if I had the loose 3500 in that I had in there now I may get very close to 12.99 and I have a 25+ year old motor now so I don't have all those good parts like they do.

you have some of the good parts but I think the key is you need the loose 3500 convertor to bust into the 12's. The 350 I think does not have enough TQ to pull it thru after 80 mph and high gear.

You affectively have the same gearing as I do with your 55 series tire and 342 gear I just have a lower 1st gear and you beat me on the 60 fts so loose convertor comes to mind. Only difference is I have a lower 1st gear with my overdrive trans. But I did notice that I did out MPH you in the 1/8 and the 1/4. I never went over a 100 mph in 1/4 and now 101.56 and 83 in the 1/8? This went up a lot.
Is that my cam with the 108 LSA doing that? I bet you it is helping a bunch.

I have 3500 loose convertor and it will go right into your trans want it? I bought it from the GS club some years back and is still in the 350 trans I have in the garage.

All this right here tells you we are the only ones testing this and finding answers. The 455 is easy just get out the GS club archive book and pick one.
How many dyno sheets do you see here where the 350 is making over 400 hp and 400 TQ not much so off we go to test.

i would say your doing good. fox's den = 101.56 mph yours 101.57 mph. good 60 ft time plus still doing a fast mph. 3-speed against a 4-speed your holding your own.

what rpm are you going over the traps and what rpm are you shifting at. the difference in mph between 1/8 and 1/4 should be no less than 20 mph.

    I’m shifting around 6200/6500 rpm
Thru the traps I haven’t looked, hell this past fall was the first time I glanced at my oil pressure down the quarter, 72 lbs:D

Yep, two musketeers, lololol, WERES MART?? We need a third 350 guy!!!
    At least it’s fun! I don’t think we’d be as ambitious if we had 455’s, low 13’s with a stock/mild is a 455 a cake walk, BORING!
Low 13’s with a 350 with iron heads in full weight coupes is doing pretty good I guess as we don’t hear much of anything about other 350’s especially the ones with the new aluminum heads.
I think the aluminum heads were fake news :p:p

about 6200, 4800-5 in trap for me I think Demko was shifting around 6300 my tach was reading almost 6500 but my rev limiter is at 6400 so I figure around 6300
acts like it could keep on going but I got those heavy forged pistons and stock 73 rods so 6200 is good enough.

That 411 gear I need should push that rpm over 5300
