    Drool, drool.....

A friend at Oldsmobile, Dave Preuhs, built an early Nova with a straight axle like that. Not sure how he did with it as I left Olds about that time (1973). He was running a big block Corvette about that time, but kept breaking rear ends. He was a friend of Bill Porterfield (if that was possible), and later drove one of Dale Smith's car and 2 engines packages into the 80's. Mike Dellahanty (Bob K's friend) also drove one of those Dale Smith cars. In the 10's with a 307 in an 83 Cutlass/Hurst...

I take exception to that. My car is a serious attempt at being "period correct" first big numbers second. Nostalgia is what makes my heart pump!

I did not. the last time we stopped it was the classic...we are going to restore that car. Did you stop and ask?

I would love to know what shape it was in.

I saw they had it listed on kijiji website as a 4 door parts car, so I cruised over that way Easter morning, and it was nowhere to be found.
I knocked on the door, a woman answered and said it sold Thusday or Friday for $450.
    I figured it was you.
