Just got off the phone with Vickie Simpson, Well after a week of having his new heart installed, The organs are responding well , and his body has accepted the new heart. But has remained in a chemical induced coma for the last week due to issues with with his lungs retaining large amounts of fluid. They have not been able to close him up after 4 attempts. His chest remains open and fighting a possible infection. He is in Critical but Stabile condition. Vickie has remained at the hospital for the last week by Peters side and just came home today. Eric and Owen are holding down the farm with the Help of Terry Simpson and friends. She wanted me to give a quick update and ask everyone to continue praying for him and his recovery. God Bless and hang in there my friend. " Love ya Man " I know you will pull thru.

Great news! Spoke with Vicky last night and she said that Peter was doing better. On behalf of herself,Peter and the boys,she'd like to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers.

Oh great, like we could expect something deep from Pete! Deep Thoughts by Peter Simpson... I would be fearful of truly finding out what Pete thinks!! (Just goofin on you Pete!)
