Door Strikers

    Dave,

    Sorry for the late response. The new strikers I got from Cars have "AM5" stamped in them. I couldn't see any codes on the strikers I took off. Maybe they're not original.

    I saw your earlier post about the factory painting them. My painted strikers looked dirty and beat up. They look better without the paint so I installed them that way. I've done a few things like that. If Buick could have afforded it, I think they'd have done it too.

    I appreciate all the input you gave me during my restoration.

    Hi,I guess George was wrong about me having a box full of those stikers,but I do have a couple and one NOS.I got it years ago,never used it.I have to find it.It's there,somewhere.BrunoD.

    Chris, no problem on the info. I agree they do look better unpainted. Friend has a low mileage original paint 70 Stage-1 and they are painted but chipped. Only reason I knew they did it this way.
