tis true. and driving on the polyglas isn't something he wanted to do. not to mention I can't leave the W-31 up on jackstands in the garage. :bglasses:

yeah, last year he had this really monster long belt going all over the place, kinda like a sepentine belt. I set him up with the correct belts for just the alt and just the p/s pump. :Brow:

well the car is in a bunch of pieces and the motor is coming out this weekend. badly leaking rear main which soaked my clutch. of course now that I've dug into the car quite a bit more, when I tell people some of the things I've found wrong or that are missing the response usually is :shock: and that the car shouldn't have been driveable. guess I'm starting the thrashing for stanton early this year :laugh: I will be there Sat, ready to push for Team Stefina or anyone else that I get subcontracted out to :bglasses:

Does anyone have ideas for alternate hotel nearby? Neither host hotel is available. The Holiday Inn is booked and the Clarion has been under renovation for about a year now....

Also the Best Western is booked too.

You could try the Comfort Inn in Plainwell. Its about 15 minutes from the track. Phone # 269 685 9891.

If you run out of options south of Martin, you could try the south side of Grand Rapids. You'll only be 15 minutes from the track. I know there's hotels on US-131 at 54th St and 84th St, maybe others. Use hotels.com (or another website) to find what's there.
