TV makes everyone look like something they're not, though. And I'm not a fan of Kev-dogg either. His flat brimmed hat and tucked in ears can go away.

Until someone comes up to the owner at a car show and asks something like, "Why did you use the wrong year bumper"?

I agree, I can't get into any of the shows but Chasing Classic Cars, AmeriCARna, and Wheeler Dealers. They are the only ones who seem genuine enough and don't totally cut up and ruin the cars. I'm somewhat of a purist though.

I might would watch Foose's Overhaulin but the host Chris Jacobs is annoying as hell.

If a person asks that question, they would know something about Buicks, and they would understand its not always easy to find the exact part you need (granted bumpers aren't that tough to find even now), and hopefully they would put the question in a classier way. If the guy was happy at the end of the show, that's all that matters. Who says he is gonna do shows anyway? (looking forward to finding and watching this show)

Then the owner of the car could pose the same question to the shop owner.. Unless he knows and doesn't care??

Boy isn't that the truth!! I'm SOOOOOOO tired of the black flat brimmed hats, the black jeans, black tee shirts, the totally tattooed arms, necks, & whatever!!! These people have no style. Just follow the latest bs trend the hiphop bozos use. Flat brimmed hats have ALWAYS looked STUPID! And most of them don't fit because they have them pulled down to their ears.

Tim have you been to a local show lately? I hate how many people have to tell me how their dad had a 67 factory stage 4 and why do I have that stupid hole in the roof and they never made a engine bigger than 400 and your grille is wrong. They usually do not say it directly to you but the smarties are saying it out loud to anyone within 20ft what all is wrong with your car. And how Buicks are no where near as fast as the 307 chevelle 4 door they had in high school.

Lately?? Those people have been around for 25 years that I can recall, and they always will be. You can't fix stupid, and I'm sure they wouldn't notice the wrong front bumper since they don't know what they are looking at anyway. Its unfortunate that people have to be a holes, but I would expect Buick guys to be a little easier on each other. He spent a pile of money on the car (I have still not seen the episode) and if he is happy with it who cares? That's all I'm saying. it is his car after all.

I've also had lots of great experiences/made friends at car shows and I prefer to focus on those.

    Have a good one.
