If I thought or knew they were bad I would not sell them. We pulled the engine in order to move to a pump gas combo, the engine ran sharp, always. The rod bearings looked good which says to me that even though the rods need to be resized, there was any imminent issues. The pics you see are as pulled from the engine, no clean up. Keep in mind these pistons have a dome, not common for a Buick. You'll have a lot of CR, might also be good for alcohol or e85. These parts always had straight 114 octane race gas. You're #3 in line. Now that I'm back from the GS Nats I can finish selling these parts. :)

Per board rules (two days to make a decision, it's been 3 days), next up is Waterboxguy03. Any questions?

I have to pass at this time...might be a different story in about 3 weeks though. I have the ad tabbed. Great deal for sure!

Still interested but have a few questions answered.
    Are the pistons .038" over?
Due to the dome design of the pistons, what head(s) need/can be used with them?
Can you provide the specification sheets from Diamond and Manley for these
    pistons and rods?
Is the JW flex plate SFI certification current or expired?

The piston specs are in post #1, there are 2 .pdf files under the thumbnail pic. There is another sheet from Manley that I will scan and upload. We used a cast iron head with these pistons and had no issues. I suppose you could run any cylinder head on it you wish.

I'll check the expiration date and scan the other doc I mentioned as well as look in the folder and see if I missed anything. I should have the above info this evening, thank you.

The flywheel date is Oct 02, not sure how long the certification is for, see the picture. When I mentioned SFI rating, I'm just trying to say that it's a good piece, not a cheap flywheel. Also, this is the rest of the paperwork I have on the rods, the piston info is in post #1 and yes, they are 4.350". Any other questions?

One more question. Is the rotating assembly externally balanced? I presume it is.
