For what it's worth, "the definitive source" for car values

    Carl, you are absolutely correct! Using the current market value of other brands as an indicator then a car like your Stage1 should sell well in the six figure range.

    Those values are based solely on verified auction sales prices and prices from dealers. They in no way reflect the private sales market.

    I personally know for a fact of a GSX that sold for over 6 figures not too long ago. It was a near flawless car, and most likely worth every dime. These are the kind of deals that go on behind the tent at Kruise auctions and such. But only the ones that go across the auction block figure into many of the values stated in price guides.
