After 3 Years of looking in local boneyards for a posi for my Centurion, I had just about given up until I was lucky enough to get one from a board member.Late yesterday while looking under an Electra that was new to the boneyard,I see a posi tag on the rear! :3gears: .Knowing how scarce these are I imediately put a small deposit on it.I do not know the specifics of the rear other then its a posi as it was getting dark. I will be going back in 2 weeks. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM

Someone should be, I was lucky to find mine after 1.5 years of searching.

Grab it, you should have no trouble selling it. I would in fact like first crack at it. Does it have a sway bar? If so please remove the lower control arms intact. Pictures would also be useful.

Have we all found our posis? A year ago, there were like five of us wandering the wasteland for this piece... I can't believe there isn't anyone else getting in line.

I can't afford a posi unit right now, although I will be needing a differential rebuild soon enough. Let us know what the specs are for it when you see it next.

I pretty much gave up on a 9 3/8" posi, and went ahead with an 8.5" unit. Hopefully it'll last. If not, I'll be searching again. Of course, if I could pick one up cheap... :Brow:

Adam got his 1.5 years ago from a Riv swap.
Rob got his a month ago in a spare Electra.
Jamyers went for a 8.5 instead.
I found mine two weeks ago in a yard centurion.
Someone bought a hefty priced one not too long ago on the board.

Is it only Victor left? Actionhank99 sure would like one, but he's been after fenders for a looooong time now... ???

Well, I haven't really put enough effort into it to call it a true search. There was a unit on eBay about a year or so ago, but I didn't win due to stupidity in underbidding :Dou: Fortunately, with a job change, I'll now have the opportunity to look around a bit. What I've been looking for is just the unit as I'm hesitant to change the gearing. Since I haven't been racing, I like the touring gear. But congratulations to those that have found them. I'm sure there are still many more.

Yep, I am... My existing is making odd noises so i don't trust it, is also leaks like a sieve. Pictures are coming and I'll let you guys know once I ID it. There is a chance I'll have parts or a complete unit left over by spring, it will be offered here first. My existing housing has fresh bushings+ brakes and I sandblasted/ painted it, I'll rebuild it in the car if it's not too far gone.

Thanks, it gets alot of attention. It's on my F-150 right now as the Riv is down for paint. I'm removing the thousands of pieces of trim now so I can strip it. I'm going with dark green metallic and ghost flames. Does anyone have pictures of a 71-73 with shaved door handles and locks?
