So, did XXLV8 get the posi? I would be interested in talking about it if it is still available. I had one out of a 72 Electra that I sold for $50 when I figured I wouln't have a full size Buick again. Now that I'm back in the Big Buick saddle again, I'm kicking myself.

I think so. But just yesterday I saw somebody on here parting out Rivs, had a big posi for $750, not a bad price.

hmmm.....here it is: 1971,72,73 buick parts for sale!!

    Good luck! :beer

GEEEEZ, I got lucky when I found mine. Those full size posi rears are worth there weight in gold to us big car guys. I have a extra posi carrier for one too. Might have to see about what its worth......

I think vkohadski said he made a mistake bidding and was outbid at 71$ on ebay. I don't know how long ago that was though. So they're out there for a reasonable price too if you're lucky.

The one in my car now I paid $175 for 18 months ago, I will pay considerably more for the current one. I lucked out with the first as it was marked as a Pontiac only unit and the guy didn't know what he had.

Nick and I got the deal done Saturday, thanks again very much Nick! Saw his toys and I'm jealous! Was an awesome day for driving too, how often do we get 60+ degrees in January, in the Northeast?
