Nationals for me. As soon as they get the dates figured out I'll try and do both.

Just to clarify in case you haven't kept up.......................Bennett (the ex event director) is gone and there are no more entrance fees or registration fees to attend the GS Nationals. It's pay at the gate and only pay for the show or race events you want to participate in. Just FYI. :)

I don't care who is making the money, just happy we have a nice event to attend annually! If you're in this hobby for the money...good luck! lol

Cecil County. Hopefully this scheduling conflict will get resolved sooner rather than later. I would love to take my newly restored car to BG to get Concours judged. Cecil is a no brainer and I would not miss it!

Never been to the Nats yet. Looks like this years not gonna happen either.
Thanks to all who put theses events together, without them we wouldn't even have a choice.

Both are great events, would not mind heading back to BG. Just a damn shame the BG event, again, two years in a row was placed on the Cecil Event dates. I will NOT get into any pissing match on why, that is not the topic of this thread. My heart, loyalty, is to my NE Friends though I will miss seeing those in the mid west and other parts of our great land who I consider very good friends. The Cecil County Race Meet is spearheaded by the NEGN Club, aka: Northeast Chapter of the GSCA, headed by John and Nancy Csordas who do a superb job, they are straight shooters, top notch no BS! The Cecil County race event is top notch and long running with great cash payouts and now has recently included a car show as in recent years the event has been growing! Not to mention you will no doubt run your fastest times ever at Cecil County, that you can take to the bank! It's the home to many of the fastest Buicks around. Unfortunately I will not attend BG and will be attending the Cecil County Meet. Best of luck racing for those attending the BG Meet. Wish you all the best!
