Nice point of view indeed, but as I'm an engineer I keep it with a more simple formula: Someone throws something into my windshield + I get him = I kick his ass till my boots burst Don't know if this is common in Europe or the US...but this is my point of view...
Hi, This sickens me to see it happen. Its beyond my comprehension as to how someone could deliberately inflict damage to someone elses property. Were you able to find the parts you need? I have a 66 Toronado Im parting out. According to what is stated in this thread the trim and wiper arm are the same. It also has the windshield in tacked, but Im reluctant to offer it, shipping and packaging would be expensive (sea freight). Plus it has 3 very fine scratches on the drivers side. I dont know if they can be buffed out or filled. Thanks Bruce
Oh... A quick Update after I was not here for quite a long time... I got a new windshield from the netherlands for only 200 bucks and everything is fine again. Never found the guy who was it-but also never had problems again. To give this thread a happy end, here is a short Video s.o.took of it during a Show last Year... You can't really see ist- but u can hear that he likes his new 3'' exhaust system;-):bglasses: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gU9COFmVkVg
I'd like to get on a plane, hunt this SOB down and get Joe Pesci on his a$$!! I feel for ya man, I would flip!!
Those pipes sound MEAN I love it!! Glad you got your baby fixed. Whoever it was still needs a beatin' tho haha...
I always want to cry when i hear these stories... If i ever caught anyone do anything to one of my cars they would be in the hospital with every finger on both hands broken. Im not even joking one bit, also i am 6 foot 3 and 285 pounds so i can do it.
There's two things you don't mess with, a man's wife or his car. And not necessarily in that order. :TU: Glad you got things put back together.
