The bar should be centered under the rear pumpkin. Proper installation involves carefully measuring to insure this. The links should be vertical or very nearly so.

You must Weld the clamps to the axle otherwise they can and will move eventually.
As the HR manual says, moving the clamps to the centersection is good for a streetcar. Moving them outward to the left and right of the axle as far as you can is a setup for dragcars.

After installation, you must retighten everything a couple of times, it will settle eventually. But must be checked know and then, if you put lot of stress to the bar, to be sure all is still tighten up.

I have No Hop Bars to from TA and after replacing the passengerside upper control arm bushing the pulling to the left under WOT was gone.

No problems with the HR bar works great, only thing was that when I received the HR bar package that the hardened steel bolts and nuts weren't in there, so I have had a very hard time finding the right ones.
I called HR about that, and they said someone must have opened the package, this was not the case otherwise I would have noticed that.
Didn't offer to send me new ones.
I found the special bolts locally but not the nuts so I used normal steel nuts.

Does anyone know if you can buy these hardened steel bolts and nuts loose at HR or somewhere else?
I'm talking about the bolts and nuts (hardened steel ones, I got black ones here) that you use with the left and right control arms that attach to the bar. If I remember correctly.

After getting and reading DOOR SLAMMERS: The Chassie Book by Dave Morgan and reading several times, it seems to me that one of the rear springs (in my case the left rear spring) is weak.

I need to rent scales to weight the car to be sure. Round track builders have the scales that will weight the car by each wheel.

I'm pretty sure 4-barrel small block cars and all big blocks came with the 12-bolt.

If it was a 2-barrel small block, it had a 10-bolt.

changed the rear springs and now it is a different riding car. That had to be the problem as it does no pull any more.

Still want to weight the car.

After putting many new parts on and adjusting them until I am blue in the face, I put the car up into the air and crawed around for 20 minuets just looking with a light.

I found that the frame is flexing/moving under tork at the firewall.

The factory front A-arms stoppers are flatened.

Also found some other bolts loose and some missing due to viberation.

Might have to weld in some bars or install some solid body mounts.
