So today I discovered that the female penguin, I mean cockroach, I mean water bug, can move away from the poison. She’s still on the far perimeter of the property. The male cockroach, not so good. He went to his bed and committed suicide. Actually I did not spray his room, but I did spray the entryway to my room!!!!!!!!’

I remember seeing those HUGE roaches when we went to visit one of my mother's relatives in Florida in the early 1970's. I remember seeing the little roaches up in SC, but those Florida things made the cats and dogs leave.

I’m thinking Fred……. I’ve trimmed palmetto palm trees, and there are definitely cockroaches inside of the trimmings. Yuck! Where are the lizards to eat them? Oh yeah, my stray cat is eating them, the lizards.

...and they fly fast! I don't believe they bite, But you don't want to get hit by one if they're in a hurry.

Interesting that you posted that, Bill. Last night I was calling the dogs in from their pen when I noticed a perfectly symmetrical round web about eight feet from the door. It was spun by a Spiny Orb Weaver, which is a small Spider that has a shell. The webs are stronger then you would think, and hard to get off of your skin and clothing. I made a mental note that the web was there, and would let the Spider take care of it. Apparently it takes so much Protein from the Spider to spin the huge web, that the Spider cannot afford to give it up, so at first light, the Orb Weaver takes the web down by eating it. Since the Spider eats bugs, and I don't like too many bugs around, I can live with this.

THE GOOD, THE BAD, and THE UGLY,
First good. I am so excited! I walked in and saw the female penguin slowly starting to pack up. Made my heart go pitter patter. The bad, yeah they’re still here. And now for the ugly. I saw my mother-in-law. Freaking scary!

It’s the Germans you gotta worry about. German roaches that is. You can spray those bastards till you’re blue in the face and they will just laugh and keep on coming. Only way to get rid of them is to poison them. And I’m not trying to give you any ideas.

OMG! I’m trying to eat breakfast. Chatty Cathy is telling me they have a griddle, a cast-iron griddle that they don’t use anymore and I’m welcome to it. At the very beginning of the conversation I told her I already have a very big cast iron griddle. She continued telling me how great this is. I think she did spoke an entire term paper while I was trying to eat my eggs. I don’t think she breathed while she spoke 100 words or more. Thank God, one more day!

There is definitely no mute button on her Rich. Years ago, slow dick used to tell her flat out, shut up Jane. I used to think that was so rude of him. Now I totally understand! He doesn’t do it anymore. Either he gave up or he knows she’s the only one taking care of him. Damn life sucks!

Little bird, my wife, is doing an excellent job of keeping up with the in-laws name. That means she did nothing. We’re getting ready to have dinner. Do you know what’s being served? The three little penguins, or I should say 2 Big penguins and one little penguin, did nothing but sleep and watch Matlock all day long. The whole family shows up for dinner and a little penguin has no idea what’s going to be made. Unfortunately we’re taking care of it. Crazy woman! Probably 12 more hours I hope!

I hear they are hoping to leave by 10 AM. I think I can make it 13 hours without killing them. Actually I’m very very very happy! Already thinking about the Buick get together at my house and Bowling Green. Can’t wait
