Re: Re: Rumble or purr? Hey Rob, Propane does nothing for a gas motor. 496 cubes is 8.1 liters. A freind of ours works at a diesel shop that installs the propane injection kits. They installed one on a ford super dooty :Brow: for a guy that ran it in the Sandhill Open Road Challenge. They guy went and tweeked the system to max out the amount of propane being injected. Needless to say he did not finish the race due to engine failure. Had it running so hot that the turbo housing was blued. The real kicker about this is that the truck had less than 500 miles on it and Ford would not cover it under warranty. Talk about a $10,000 mistake.

I think they misjudged on the high traction part of the claims!!:Brow: :shock: These are a little faded as they are about 5 months old. Got the dually into 5th doing this burnout. I am not sure, but I think you can tell when it shifted each time. Speedo pointing at about 90 mph. Nobody around to get pics and video, but next time, we will be ready!!
