kent-gardner: thanks mcford: yes, Bob had the complete car, body, fenders, ram air hood, deck lid, both doors, and core support for several years in storage and then in his shop. Car was finally finished and painted in 2002. You bet he is "uber talented", reason why I took the car all the way from Florida to Mich. and back, twice. It was worth it, as he is a real "metal man"! BTW: just talked to Bob a few days ago and he told me he is moving his shop to a 6,300 sq. ft. building in Jackson, Mich.
Dave, Your car looks great. I was just talking to Rick the other day (71 442 4spd from Oklahoma) and said you may be headed this way when you are headed east. I hope we can get together. I bought the rubber floor mat from you a couple of years ago as you were finishing the car. Travel safe and give Rick a holler when you head this way. Matt
That is an awesome story and a quite the car! Now where in Fort Lauderdale are you? I swear I've seen that car before.... Scott
Congrats Dave :TU: Sweet looking car . . . . . . . . . . Even though it's a Old's :Brow:  :Brow: , just kidding :beers2: It is one nice looking car. Keep on winning :TU:
rktolds: Yes, I remember about the mat. How did that work out for you? I need Rick's tel. number, as my cell phone crapped out and I lost several # s and his was one of them. I am coming that way and will diffently meet up with you both for dinner at the stockyard Steak House! scott: No longer live in Ft. Lauderdale. I move from there in June 2010 to north Fla. just 18 miles south of the capital, Tallahassee, near a town called Crawfordville. Right now I am still in Reno, NV. DavidC77: thanks!
Dave, I haven't used it yet. I'm gonna put it in my 72 after I repair the rear window channel. Then it'll go in my 68 F85 eventually. I will pm you Rick's number on this site. Matt
