since they let you go home is great news. don't worry. in 89 when i was 39 i had a mi. lost my front artery. of course i did not find out till 91, thought i had the flu. i am still going strong. follow your cardiologist recommendations. you will be alright.
Let me add that you should do more than take your meds. My father takes his meds, but hasn't really done anything else, and it has caused a definite quality of life issue. Run everything by your doctor, but you definitely need to remain active.
A lot of that hospital stuff going around this week. ray: Glad to hear you're up and running Peter!! Keep healthy and we'll see you at PSMCDR!
WOW!!!!! Never saw that coming!!!!!!! Glad to hear your at home ,Hope you spring back like your son. WOW-- The wife and I's thoughts and prayers are with you.ray:
Everyone needs to get annual check ups, and have healthy habits. Once you get older (like me), all the hard living catches up to you.
Hey Peter, It wouldent let me reply to your message unless I make 2 "posts". So ya Dad is in Barbados, my name is a play on his licence plate, instead of Rat, its Brat. Haha, Get Better, Tell everyone I say hi!
Pete my families and Larry's families prayers are with you. I lost most of a year due to a cardiac virus. I eventually did what I was told and with luck it worked out for me. It was a 50/50 shot of needing a heart transplant. What I am getting at is do not screw around with it. Take care and if need be I have a bike you can roam around on to get healthy with. Also I was wondering if you have Sleep Apnea? That can and will cause a condition like yours. That is an easy one to fix with the O2 machines they have today. Get well soon. Mark
Pete, make sure they do the second overlay scan with the iodine dye, and pay attention YOURSELF to the x-rays/films of the carotid split in your neck below the jawbone..... that's what almost killed me 3 years ago... have you been getting headaches right behind your eyes? changing eyesight daily? dizzy or groggy spells late in the afternoon? :idea2:
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself and mend FAST. The PSMCDR and Factory Stock Races would not be the same without you.
Prayers have been said here as well for you. Take care of yourself so us little dogs can still chase after you big dogs. Lon
Prayers from here to Pete. Take care and do what the doctors say. We love having you at the PS races, and if you bring the ZL-1, well that is just an extra!
Hope you get better soon. Will be praying on this end too. Ditto on the Dr. stuff, thank goodness for all the med breakthru's.
