What an awesome piece of history there..Have to admit it,I am a Mopar fan as well as a Buick. Maybe someday I will have one of each.
Rare or what??? Guy thats a cool ride :TU: Mopars are my second choice, I would take one in a heart beat. I saw this at a local car show, do you guys think this is the real deal . I don't know if you can make out what it says over the windshield or the sign but it says 1 of 2 made..Chris
I'm sorry, but you have to be a real self-important attention-starved jackhole to put something like that on your windshield. The sign -- hey, fair enough , but c'mon -- or maybe the lettering is factory stock? -- Steve
4x4   No kidding, it looks like something you would see at the mud drags..........Chris
Yeh I know the car and have talked to the guy. Doesn't seem to be that bad a fellow. He has some other marques as well. The one of two thingy is just the cowl tag information. The factory omitted the code that designates it as a mid year 440 six pack car. I used to have a 69 1/2 Super Bee but can't recall the particular numbers off the top of my head (no bald jokes now Chris). Tom
could be real, to everyone else it looks like another 6 pack raod runner. Doushbag move on the windshield though.
Chris- I don't mind them either.. Isn't it ironic? There are some Mopar people that are into Buick muscle, and Buick people that are into Mopar's. I like them all (muscle cars).
Hey, I'd like a Mopar if only for the colors. Sublime? Go Mango? Lime Light? Had to be a fun night coming up with those names. -- Steve
RED WHITE & BLUE What's up with all these red white and blue cars??? This was by far the best show I ever attended!! More to come if your interested:Brow:
Guy, Have you ever posted detailed pictures of your "Reynolds" car after it was finished? I looked on this board and couldn't find any. Where was that show? Thanks.
A friend of mine bought a 72 duster, only to find out it was an orginal 340-6 pack factory drag car that Dick Landy drove. He has restored back to the factory colors of red white and blue. My older brother is abig Mo-par head. And I got to amit that the only cars to make me say pop the hood is a mopar.
Hi Jeff- This is the only pic I have of it loaded on this computer right now. It's from the show I was invited to with all these other vintage drag cars. Show was in Mn. and was just plain awesome!
Thanks Guy. I saw that picture somewhere else. That's what got my head spinning!! Is there any way you could post a picture or two of the engine compartment? I want to see how it was done "back in the day" with Buicks. Beautiful car, by the way. Thanks.
Yes, please post more pics! S & M had to have one of the best paint schemes by far for a race car! :TU:
OMG...Now I have to clean my keyboard... :spank: :spank: anymore pics..just wish they wernt so much money!!
