Sick Of Mopars? HOW BOUT SOME GM... This is the original "TIN INDIAN" that won so many races in '70. oh yea, and that's a real HEMI Dart in the back ground...
can i ask how you were able to get this piece of history? i think it is neat that it is still around. i have an old buick gs history book written by marty schor and they had a pretty good size spread about pop and his drag cars
To sum it up in three words.. lucky, decisive, & determined I guess. Dave, the guy I bought it from absolutley did not want it leaving the country as he had offers from collectors over seas. And I had to pretty much prove my intent with the car. And I paid him what he wanted for it. Simple heh?
well at least you did not have to promise your first born. i would like to be able to see your collection sometime ,if it would be ok.
Just browsing the forum! Mopar/Musclecar guy just visiting upon the recomendation of another Mopar /Musclecar guy! Some pretty good reading. The code for the Road Runner that someone is refering to is (A12). Looking at the RR that must be what he is refering to as being a 1 of 2 car. I was into everything including Grand Nationals up through the 90's but got back into old school. Here's a pic of my cars! Sorry no Buicks. Seems like you guys are like Mopar guys in that no one has just one car! KIDSIXPACK www.sixpacksuperbee.homestead.com
Nice! Welcome, very nice cars! It said A12 on his sign but I'm not up to speed on these cars so I don't know if its real or not. Here is another pic from that same car show. Chris
