Are you looking for a vintage one?
We run the SPX from TA and that is similar design I think. That might be easier to find.

If I'm not mistaken, the SPX was patterned after the Cool Runner; correct?

Just an FYI, are you aware that the carb pad is not angled on the KB intake?

Yes I am aware of the carb pad...not an issue. So what is one of these intakes worth these days?

I suppose it all depends on the reason you want one. Personally I avoided the KB in my search in favor of the newer, redesigned SPX when I was looking. I guess when considering value you have to compare the old school stuff to the new. If you're looking to build something with the old look (I hate to say old since that was the '80s) the Kenne-Bell piece would be cool.

I am looking for that "Old" look by the way...I wouldnt mind paying for a cool runner either. What HP range would one of those intakes support? My goal is 550-570 and while the SPX is a very good intake...I want the nostalgic look.

I don't know of anyone who's posted the performance differences between the KB Cool Runner and the SPX. Might be a good question to post to the race forum.

Your power goal could be easily reached with the TA SP1, or a ported edelbrock B4B or Performer with the right combo. I don't know how my SPX will behave, haven't tried it yet.

Just reply to this thread, and when you look in the top bar right above where you're typing, there will be a small paperclip with a drop down arrow. Just click that, and it should bring up a new window where you can select the file from your computer.

Click "Browse", find the file, select it, and then click "Upload Attachments" at the bottom of the list.
