I don't watch faithfully, butit is definately Leno. He seems more conservative in his veiwpoints plus he is a HUGE car guy with probably one of the best personal collections going.

Have you seen his 55 BUick since they redid it? GM 572 crate motor and Vette suspension all around, looks stock including the interior.

An added bonus, he once worked in a Cadillac dealership in Mass. with a hot rod guy I know. I don't know for how long but I heared him admit to it in an interveiw. He joked that his job was to roll back the odometers on used cars.

I know some guys in CA who have met him and know him a little form carshows. They say he is an everyday guy who doesn't mind getting his hands dirty to fix an old steamer to get it back home. Yup, he drives everything.

You can keep both of them! I'm a Daily Show with Jon Stewart kind of guy! Sure his show is only a half hour and is actually on earlier than Letterman or Leno and I could catch either, what really is the point? Once you go Stewart you never go back!

I loved watching Letterman in the 90's, and Leno can be OK, though I never make a point of watching him. Neither of them can hold a candle to Johnny C.

While I prefer Letterman to Leno, I won't usually stay up to watch either one of them. Johnny Carson was so much better than either one of them, there is NO comparison! Him I used to stay up for all the time.

I remember watching Jay Leno and he talks of the time he once owned a '65 Gran Sport;he said he and his buddies would start off at one end of the street, and they would literally burn the tires the entire length!!! He said he really liked that car and that the car was a blast to drive. He is definately a cool guy for sure! :TU:

I don't watch Leno because of his car collection. :puzzled:

I mean, I think it's great he has a big car collection, but what the heck does it have to do with his TV show?

I grew up with Letterman and I love his dry humor. Carson paved the way for all these guys, but Letterman took it to another insane level. Letterman paved the way for everyone else as far as modern talk shows go, including Leno. Back in the early eighties, he was dropping TV sets from 10 story buildings and interviewing Indian convenience store clerks who had no idea why they were being interviewed. As far as I know, this was ground breaking TV in these variety shows. And it was hilarious too.

Just like Leno, Letterman makes fun of everyone. I like them both a lot. But Letterman gets the nod.

Letterman here. A truly edgy show. Been watching him since he had a morning gig back in '81. Still love Johnny though. Johnny writes some of Letterman's stuff.
