The E.T. the car runs has nothing to do with the fun factor of the event. I had just as much fun racing a 15.20-15.30 car as I did the year I brought a 12.90 car. That has always been the beauty of these events Case, you will always be paired with a car that runs similar E.T.,and if nobody has sandbagged, you will have a door handle to door handle 2 outta 3 match race. Just throw the damn thing together and get your butt back to the event as a participant:Smarty:

Are Martin and Mid Michigan the only 2 tracks you can get. MM is the worst hook for a 4-speed ever.How come nobody does Milan?
Nobody does Milan because they are a PITA to deal with. I live 7 miles from the joint, and have worked there. I know from experience.
How about Norwalk?? Lebanon valley? Toronto Motorsports? We definitely need a fall race within a 6hr drive for most competitors. Will 20 bucks more per person buy Milan?
When I spoke with Milan a few years ago it wasn't a money issue. We didn't even get that far despite the description. At that time we could get a few hours before the Friday schedule and a couple of hours before the Saturday schedule. Or we could run with their regular schedule. Not a real event. Milan is closer for me also, however, I think if an established group like F.A.S.T. is willing to get us Martin I'm not going to gripe.o No: :TU:
AND..... It's really nice to not have to run with a bunch of weed whips,mini dragsters,snow mobiles,motorcycle's,pro mods,etc.
A few years back, we Olds farts were planning to run with the Pontiac club at Milan when they rented the track. Overnight they bumped the cost by $1000. Killed that.
Anyone got a date - yes or no? Have to figure time off and workers to run the place .... Count us for 2 if you get it worked out SOON.

That is a good question Roberta! Where is everyone staying? We will be driving back home Friday night, so I guess we will have to get our party on at the track before we leave. Unless, the majority are staying close by- like Kalamazoo!?ray:
