This is what happens when you have a sloppy timing chain, after the nylon teeth delaminates from the timing gear.

    Hi Flipper,
Cool to know that there's interest close to home. I'm getting wound up to get this project moving forward. Planning on hitting the local shows and maybe a couple bigger ones, but thats a few nuts and bolt down the road. Keep in touch, I'll be posting progress pics from time to time.

A couple I used to own.....

White car is MIA, last seen/known whereabouts was a Kruse fall Auction in Indiana 12-14 years ago. Have no idea where it went. Had a cop friend run the VIN once, and came up with nothing, so it's either sitting in a collection, or it went overseas??

Burgundy car went to Boston 12 years ago, then Georgia, and last I knew it went WEST like Wa State/Oregon,etc.?

The Burgundy car is near me in SW Washington. Still looks great. The owner takes it out a couple of times a year but doesn't do much with it. Last year while building mine we used the Burgundy car to determine logo placement and how the core support and grill went together.

There is a guy here on the board that had a post in the "lost" items, that has the original window sticker and some other paperwork for that car. I wouldn't mind having the guys contact info if you have it. I put a ton of work into that car.
