I have a rebuilt one. I had it rebuilt in anticipation of using it on my 66 GS quadrajet manifold but found an NOS version to use instead. I can get you some pictures after I get home from work.
If you are looking for a carb with the right numbers,I cannot help you,I do have a better one then those, only if you are thinking of going with some high performance engine.Mine is a 73 carb, not so good for the regular 430,but as I said ,just in case, mine is better with more horsepower.Bruno
Someone before me tried to "fix" it...broke the float bracket/house or what you call it so it floods every now and then
I suspect he's using the original kickdown and switch pitch which requires that special arm on the carburetor that 67 has. also if I remember correctly the later carburetors will not sit all the way down on the early manifolds because of the linkage on the passenger side for throttle blades. You can make it work with a spacer and you can add the arm to the later carburetor if you want to run one of those
Ive got a couple 7027240 cores in the shed I believe. send a pm if youd like. IF the part that broke on yours is the little finger that holds the float pivot in place, there is a stainless bracket that can save the carb. post a pic of your damage. maybe its repairable.
I have this carb I believe it was off a 67 430 parts motor sitting at least 20 years, I dont have one to compare it too maybe you'll recognize it compared to yours
How about $80.00. usd. + shipping from Montreal (might be too far to make it worth shipping?) Here's some pics. I'll even throw in the pcv valve Carb should be Feb 1968 if it matters.
all 67 Buick quadrajets have the same throttle arm connection and kickdown switch connections. There is nothing exclusive to the big cars on a 67 quadrajet.
Throttle cable started on A bodies in 1968. All 1967 Buicks used a rod just like the big cars, doesn't matter if it's a 2 barrel or a Riviera with a 430 4 barrel. The picture the Op posted is of a 67 carburetor in a 67 car
