It's funny, when you know what original stripes are supposed to look like, the incorrect ones really stand out

I don't know about that on the stripe...I've had mine 31 years and i tend to lean away from that picture of the old beater one. So I wonder if that's the one with the incorrect stripe? My stripes are still in the same place as they were when the car left the factory. But...I'm no expert. Well...now the straighter stripe looks correct. 20190325_104643.jpg 20180522_100514.jpg

I believe the '69 Judge stripes follow the arch of the fender. So, maybe too many Pontiac guys working on these cars.

Nice that we still have so many original paint cars as examples.

Hard to tell from all the different angles of the pics but there seems to be some minor variation in how the originals were laid out on the fenders, esp in the distance from the end/point of the stripes to the front edge ofthefender and in the arch. I wouldn't be surprised if there were minor differences from side to side on the same car.

    Here's pics of my old one w/orig. paint. FB_IMG_1496532317361.jpg FB_IMG_1496532293598.jpg FB_IMG_1496532327909.jpg FB_IMG_1496532400948.jpg FB_IMG_1496532345629.jpg FB_IMG_1496532352232.jpg

#390 circa September - October 1970 (before it sold to first owner), but we can't see the front of it...

    Hello V8 Board members,

Going back to the original question, does anyone know anything about this GSX? Have we seen this car before? Is it a board members car?

Any information and help would be appreciated

    Thank you.

I like how Brian referenced the #390 for that GSX. Can we all use a GSX# when possible. It gives them some identity. They are all just Yellow or White until they have a number. Eric what is your GSX #?
