Folks- looks like a few of us are going to hook up at Milan dragway This Sunday from 11am to 5pm 50* and ZERO chance of rain, And MILAN HOOKS If your flirting with a number this will probably be it.:3gears: :TU:
Most people I know had their best E.T. ever last weekend at Osceola where the barometer was up around 30.34:eek2: and temps in the 40's. Don't think I can swing it on this short of notice.:af:
Hey Tim, Do you think they'll let us have our Pit Bike Shoot-out on the track?? See you there around 11am when the gates open. Is your Pit Bunny bringing his wife's Buick?? :bla:

WE didn't want you anyways Miller !!! :bla: Buttt - can your wife come? Frank yes Jeremy (pit bunny) and I both are stag this weekend! Sounds like Mr Brass will be there to ? SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY:3gears:
Milan Dragway has a webcam setup on Ustream that I watch a couple of times thru the week such as tonight's Test & Tune, so maybe I can watch some of you guys make some runs! I'll be checkin' it out from up here in the backwoods of the Great White North. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/milan-test
Frank you have to hand it to me. Yvonne is hooked. We watched the Stanton video the other night and one of the first things she said was "next year" Mission compleat Ask me at the track what I'm working on now............:Brow: :Brow: :Brow:
Timmy, I am not going to make it.... I spent 7 hours yesterday reffing for the Special Olympics, and my back is killing me... plus I froze my azz off and it's even colder today.. Paul has hockey with his son at noon, so he is out as well .... we tried
A certain Mopar swept the day with an amazing 1.74 60 foot!!!:eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :TU: :beers2: a few of us set some new personal bests. I'm not spillin it though( YET). I'll let them tell you. The air this morning was 1500ft below sea level !!! Stanton aint got nothin on this place.
sorry Tom , Butt I just don't kiss and tell !! I ran a string of 12.40 -12.40- 12.46 @ 110, 1.91 60 foots -still down 5 mph. It's all done at the 1000ft mark- Running out of fuel ???? Don't know I'm not liken the temporary auto. 1-2 shift is blowing the tires, keep having to lift and pedal it. Jeremy set an amazing new best- fast enough that his wife is going to be pissed he showed her up. I'll let him say the time if he wants. But it did a 1.84 and 1.85 60 foot:eek2: Lets just say he wasn't getting full throttle TILL NOW. It was definatly not the crane XRi unit. Jimmy Boman -new personal best Tony Raglia -new personal best Paul Petco -Wow- That's all I can say. Wow
I was happy when it went 1.90's 60ft with 13.30 @ 101 Checked the timing and that was good, so I had Tim make sure I had WOT because I put a different carb on it That little trick rewarded me with a best of 13.10 @ 103 with a 1.84 60ft I backed it up with a 13.16 @ 102 with a 1.85 60ft I even pulled a .032 light Milan hooks and it's a blast I would love to know what it would have run if my hired gun would have been driving. Yes Frank I'm talking about Yvonne
HEY! I had a "personal best" as well! A 1.92 60'! Best I had was a 13.35 @ 102.27 with a .0019 light and a 1.92 60'. I got shot down in the first bracket round with that pass against a 9.75 dial S-10 pickup who ran a 9.759 against my 13.352 on a 13.34 dial. I didn't see any of the big block PSMCDR guys try their hands at that! :bla: I had the quickest small block amongst our 6 PSMCDR entrants. Of course I was the ONLY small block. Some one has to carry the little block banner! It was cool to have our own PSMCDR row lined up in the pits. One guy wandered over and told me that we should all have been in a car show instead of racing with our detailed machines. Time to pack the old Dodge away for its winter hibernation.
Oh that's an easy one. I say 12.98 :Brow: :Brow: As for Mr. Petcou...................let's just say he would have been matched up against Rick Mahoney at PSMCDR with his times yesterday. His Challenger was lovin' the good air and good bite at the tree. I saw one pass at 11.97 but I know he ran even better than that later on. Congrats to Tim, Jeremy, Paul, Tony, and Jim for establishing new personal best milestones. I was a fun time! :TU:
Frank mine wasn't a best, wasn't pulling past 1000 foot mark. Now getting up to that point was fun though!! Great hanging out with everyone. Awesome cookies frank!!! your quite the susie home baker.. or betty crooker which ever you prefer. You DID look cute in your little apron.:TU: :Brow:
I dont think Ive ever posted on here before. My name is Jimmy Bowman I drive a 4 speed 69 lift off 6pack Bee. Had a blast yesterday, great weather and I cant emphazie what a great track that Milan is. Had my personal best with 12.67 at 109.7 with 1.91 60ft rite off the trailer. Last year I got a 1.87 60ft for a 12.70. Tried to back it up but had some gremlins reappear, I think my clutch is going. Still ran a slew of 12.80's and 90's. Paul Petiqo's car is sicking fast and I think he's still going to go faster. Anyways if youve never been to Milan it's worth the trip 175 miles round trip for me but well worth it. All in All it was a great way to end the season.
