Between myself and Tim, we have 6 hoists within a stone's throw from the track. If someone wants to organize something, send me a PM or email. I worked there and could assist in trying to make something happen. It has been hard in the past, but they are soooooo much better than they were about 10 years ago. I've seen 'em glue the track all the way to the 1320. :3gears:

    I'm in ......

    Why stop there?...

How about some planned Pure Stock T-N-T gatherings throughout the summer on Wednesday and/or Friday nights? I know I'll need some mentoring! :Dou:

Where is Milan located in relation to the Stanton track?

    Jody,

Milan is just off US23 about 20-25 miles north of the Ohio/MI state line. ~Maybe~ 100 miles south and east of Stanton.

Don't you own a map? :Dou: :Dou:

John Brown On permanant vacation !!

Why are there two citys in Illinois named Pontiac ?? :Do No:

When we used to race at Milan (seems like a hundred years ago), we would stay in Ann Arbor. Half of the crew stayed in the camper with the race car and tow truck, the rest of us got a motel room. We would run a drop cord from the motel room to the camper to run the a/c, and the showers in the motel room sure were better than showering in that tiny camper restroom.....

Well... We called Milan Dragway to possibly get a date for next year. $20,000 to rent the track Friday and Saturday, crazy! If we do this it will most likely be at Martin. Are you guy's thinking a one or two day deal? Were just putting some feelers out there.

I could get Gateway for 2 days for *half* that...(or less? and that's with inurance). And, they've got a JET DRYER!

Or Rt. 66? They run a very limited schedule now since they've reorganized...

Too bad our event @ Gateway is only 2 weeks prior to Stanton, as we have the track to ourselves with <50 cars every year...
