Moog cast iron upper ball joints?

I checked the one new moog ball joint against the other and one is way to loose. I contacted Rock Auto where I got them and they are sending out a new one and do not even want the old one back. That is good customer service.

 

Rock Auto is where I purchased mine from also. I just sent back the "defective" ones on Monday. They told me that they did a "search" to see if there were any other complaints or returns of this product. He said that there was not and this must be an "isolated instance". I think that's their standard answer for cases like this. They did treat me very well with regards to the whole incident though. I can't blame them for Moog and Spicer's poor quality!

I got the new Moog from Rock and it is much tighter than the bad one. First bad componanant I ever got from Moog.
