Congrats to Mark Weymouth ,Bruno Beltrame and Brian Stefina, for their respective articles in the Jan. 2007 issue of MCE. :TU:

Mark's well written and exciting article about the "Virgin Stock Shootout " between his Hemi Challenger and Bruno's 427 Vette was great.

Tom Shaw's article on Brian's killer 58' 430 Tri Carbed Merc. was a real eye opener too.

Even though your there,it's hard to get to know the cars and to see the races, when you yourself are participating.

    Thanks again to MCE!

Gotta admit , I was really surprised too. Seemed like my Dec. 06 issue was late, and my Jan. 2007 issue was a little early. :Do No:

    Mine came tonight too!

Congrats to Mark and Bruno on the Virgin Stock write up :bglasses:

Brian, WOW! :TU: :3gears: What an awesome pictorial on your 58 Marauder, you did a Fantastic job on that car. Probably the only 58 Mercury that has ever been featured in a magazine, at least a Musclecar Magazine :Brow: BTW, Is that really a Musclecar? Just kidding
Congratulation's again, and great work by Tom Shaw in the photo/editorial on the car :TU:

I agree it is another good issue for us PS guys as I got my issue last week and found it to be nice. Brian the car is fascinating and looking great.

Rich thank you but the Virgin Stock article really happened because of Bruno and the thanks/accolades go in that direction. I just hope my writting is improving as I find it a bit dry still. I suppose it is due to a few to many years doing engineering in the floundering Detroit auto industry that is killing any wit that is left.

    Cool

Congratulations to the Pure Stockers that made the mag. I think Musclecar Enthusiast has adopted the race and the cars as their showcase. What better than the cars you like and a motor sport class they participate in. In a nut shell, EVERYONE wins! :TU: I would say that 2007 is shaping up to be one heck of a year if the events don't get rained out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked both issues (November/December I think) at Chapters two days ago, and neither current issue refers to Stanton. I'll keep checking though. Do you know for certain if they had rep's present at the event?
